Teresa TappYou may or may not have heard of it, but T Tapp is a revolutionary way to work out that’s not new, but not all that well-known either.  But it should be!

I’d known about it for a few years, and as with anything, it took me a minute to catch on to it.  It was one of those things I kept seeing, but not doing anything about.  But when I did, it took me by storm!  While I am not someone who believes that age has anything to do with anything, I have to admit, once I hit 40, things changed.  And not in ways I wanted them to.

Aside from a few more gray hairs, I found that if I put on a few pounds, all my usual strategies for quickly shedding them seemingly stopped working.  That’s when I understood the gift of youth.  You can yo yo with your weight more often and it doesn’t affect you as much.  I’d simply workout more and it always did the trick.

Alas, not anymore.  And yet, I refuse to be a fat old lady either!  What to do?

I’m the type who never lets anything stop them, so when I want something, I persevere until I get it.  As I did this time too.  Even though it took a while, eventually I figured out what worked at my age, and T Tapp topped the list.

I’m like most – I love to eat!  So in order to offset it, I work out.  And when I did in my 20’s and 30’s, the pounds always melted away.  It was kind of like a security blanket.  I knew all I needed to do if I gained weight was workout more.  But not anymore.  When I tried, the weight wouldn’t budge!  I did yoga, spin, Pilates.  And after months, I saw no results.  So I began searching for a workout that worked for me now, and I eventually found it.

It’s called T Tapp.

For over 25 years, T Tapp founder Teresa Tapp, exercise physiologist who specializes in women’s metabolism for women over 30, developed a truly unique way of working out based on neurokinetic flow combined with comprehensive, compound muscle movement, which is what makes it so effective so fast!

Neurokinetic flow promotes greater nerve transmission from the brain through the spine to the extremities, which allows for a higher metabolism, more efficient muscle activity, more energy, and faster inch and weight loss.  Plus, with T Tapp, you use five to seven muscles at once, a.k.a. comprehensive compound muscle movement, instead of working only one muscle at a time as with traditional isometric workouts.  With regular workouts, you have to add weights to gain muscle, but not with T Tapp!  In fact, you never use weights, ever!

I had outgrown intense cardio workouts because it's just not who I am anymore.  Working 15-hour days in corporate brought with it a whole different energy, one that was very fast-paced and frenetic.  Which was who I was before.  Now, I've changed my lifestyle so much that anything that's too stressful can easily overwhelm me and turn me off.

What I especially love about T Tapp is that there are no complicated exercise routines, no running, no jumping, and no weights.  You only need four square feet of floor space to do it, and instead of doing it more, over time, you actually do it less!  As Teresa says, less is more with T Tapp.  You never do more than eight repetitions of any one exercise, and once you initially condition your body to doing them (in a specific order), you can get away with working out as little as two times a week to maintain!

And it’s not about weight loss.  It’s about inch loss.  Having worked with models, Teresa realized how quickly they needed to get in shape, and to focus on their trouble zones, she developed exercises that showed fast results, in just a few days even, which is how she got her start.

Since models aren’t weighted, they’re measured, it didn’t matter how much they weighed, only what their measurements were, which fit right into her philosophy that as long as you’re fit and trim for your height and body type, how much you weigh doesn’t matter.

(Which affirms my own belief it’s not about the scale!)

One of my favorite moves is Hoe Downs!  It’s great for when you carb load, or just know your diet is too refined, and you can do it anywhere anytime!  T Tapp exercises are designed to stimulate your body to use glucose as fuel instead of storing it as fat, which is exactly what Hoe Downs do.  It can be done alone, and has been proven to help drop glucose levels an average of 62-85 points in just three minutes!

[bctt tweet=”Note: Eating carbs is not bad! They are necessary for cellular energy”], however the trick to eating carbs is helping your body use glucose before it’s converted to fat.

Also, since there’s no running or jumping involved, there is no stress/impact on your joints, so it's safe for anyone at any age to do.  It’s a rehabilitative approach to working out, meaning it helps your body repair, rebuild and rejuvenate.  Depending on your fitness level, you can lose one clothing size every two to four weeks!

For me, I lost two sizes in four weeks, and continue to see results the more I do it.  Undeniably, I’m leaner, my body is way more flexible, I feel better, I feel stronger, and I sleep better too!

Teresa’s motto is Yes You Can!  So no matter your excuse, like age, time, ability, etc., you can do it too.  And I suggest you do.  One of the most unique things about T Tapp that I particularly love from a holistic health standpoint is that it focuses on building a better lymph system.  Having a well-functioning lymph system is crucial for your health because it effects immune, and without a healthy immune system, disease is inevitable.

There is literally no other workout on the planet that I know of that is as comprehensive as T Tapp.  I wish I knew about it before 40 because I wouldn’t have wasted my time on workouts that I didn’t always love doing!  This one, I do.  It’s not time-consuming, it hardly makes me sweat, I look forward to doing it, and it works!

I recommend T Tapp to all my clients, and bloggers too!  I receive no financial incentive for my remarks either.  I just want everyone to know about it, and try it, for their own health and wellbeing.

I’ve found that the only times in life when I got stuck was when I didn’t have the proper understanding of how to solve a problem, but when I stick to it, the answer always comes.  As frustrated as I was, I could have given up trying to find a workout that worked for me, especially over 40, but I didn’t, and sure enough, I found T Tapp.

I feel invincible with it, and I hope that if you try it, you feel invincible too!  You can buy T Tapp videos on Amazon, or at t-tapp.com.  I suggest starting with the Total Workout, and following the bootcamp as outlined in the book.  You definitely won't be sorry!
