  1. Get Your Hair Done.  What better way to supercharge your self-confidence than to color your roots or get a fresh cut?  A good stylist knows how to make you look good and uses their skill and expertise to do just that.  Spending a few hours at the salon can make a huge difference in how you feel inside and out and when your confidence gets a boost, you’re unstoppable!
     
  2.   3. Go On Vacation.  Can you say no-brainer?  Yet so many people overlook this critical aspect to their emotional wellbeing!  You’ve GOT to get away, at least once year, even if it’s just for a few days or a weekend.  And it doesn’t have to cost a whole lot either.  You can certainly spend a lot, or spend a little, and still benefit from a getaway.  It’s more about breaking up the monotony of everyday life than it is so much about the destination, although who wouldn’t want to cruise the French Riviera or take a stroll through SOHO?  Even just your local bed and breakfast might be enough to make you feel like you left town and got your mind off things so that you return with a fresh perspective.
     
  4. Have Sex.  I saved the best for last.  There are SO many reasons sex can get you out of a slump, from just feeling sexy, to making a more intimate human connection, to releasing feel-good hormones that in fact make you feel good, and more! The ways are endless!  Besides, who doesn’t want to get closer to someone, especially someone they love?  Sex is also a great way to burn calories so it doesn’t just help your brain, it helps your body too!  There’s nothing like a good romp in the hay to get you out of any slump, any day of the week.
