Eat more protein.<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/h3>\n<p>\n\tThis one is so overlooked&nbsp;and yet so simple.&nbsp; Just eat protein.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tYour best choice is&nbsp;clean, organic protein. &nbsp;Eating protein will <strong>slow the absorption of carbs<\/strong> in your system and keep your blood sugar stable, so never eat carbs solo as it&nbsp;puts a great deal of stress on your body quickly&nbsp;and can tax your adrenal glands.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tIf you&rsquo;re experiencing digestive issues,&nbsp;make sure you optimize your digestion too because you could be eating the best diet but if you&rsquo;re not digesting it, it&rsquo;s garbage. Complex carbs like whole grains versus&nbsp;simple, refined carbs are a better option.\n<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t<strong>2.&nbsp;Eat breakfast.<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/h3>\n<p>\n\tNow, I know you&#39;ve heard this one before, but&nbsp;it&#39;s an important reminder. &nbsp;Let me explain why.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tOne reason you may tend to not want to eat in the morning is because you&rsquo;re suffering from&nbsp;adrenal exhaustion.&nbsp; With healthy functioning adrenals, your cortisol levels are higher in the morning which <strong>contributes to a lack of appetite,<\/strong>&nbsp;but adrenal exhaustion also suppresses liver function which&nbsp;will in turn suppress early morning hunger. &nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t[bctt tweet=&#8221;Adrenal exhaustion is a condition brought on by stress and affects up to 80% of Americans&#8221;], and when it comes to stopping sugar cravings,&nbsp;it&rsquo;s crucial to eat breakfast because it sets the tone for your blood sugar for&nbsp;the day, which is influenced by adrenal function.
